For many years, POLIMER Sp. z o. o. from Lubliniec offers interesting and innovative solutions in the plastics industry.
Our activities are aimed at meeting the needs and expectations of customers, both in the production of PVC’s granulates and extruded products. To meet the increasingly higher requirements set by the market, we care about quality at every stage of the company's operations.
Quality control inspectors employed in our company check whether the manufactured product meets all quality standards, company or industry standards and necessary criteria at every stage of production. They decide to forward the product to the next stage of the supply chain. They also check whether the finished product fulfills the function for which it was manufactured and whether it works efficiently and without errors. The quality control laboratory is a place where the compliance of dimensions, shapes and materials used with the technological documentation of manufactured products and their compliance with applicable standards is checked. Every day we use appropriately calibrated control and measurement devices such as:
Laboratory Scale
Halogen Moisture Analyzer
Spectrophotometer, that allows for accurate measurement of the color and gloss components of the surface. Based on the data obtained from the spectrophotometer, we can precisely select the color of the material, according to: individual customer wishes.
We determine the basic physical parameters of the product, such as:
Pycnometric density
Bulk density
Content of volatile substances
We have a research station for determining the basic mechanical and electrical properties of plastics, such as:
Hardness acc. Shore scale
Specific volume resistance
Surface resistivity

We have our own laboratory extruder for extruding samples of tested granulates in the form of extruded profiles.
Moreover, to meet the customers’ expectations, in cooperation with friendly national research institutes, we can determine other additional properties of materials, including:
- mechanical (tensile strength, tensile modulus, elongation at break, bending strength, compressive strength, impact strength, etc.)
- thermal (Vicat softening point, deflection temperature under load, thermal resistance),
- electrical (electrical strength, electrical loss),
- optical (light transmittance, refractive index),
- chemical (resistance to chemicals, aging resistance),
- other (according to an individual research plan, as requested by the client).
